FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When will the book be out?The Beast of Wolfe's Bay is currently available on Amazon.com and is available on iBooks and Kindle. It is also carried by Diamond Comic Distributors, and will start appearing in comic shops in June, 2013.
Will this be a "real" book, or an e-book?It will be both. The plan is to have it available as a paperback book available through amazon.com, hopefully at comic shops, and as an e-book for Kindle, Nook, iPad, and more.
How do I order a copy? The best way used to be to donate money to the Kickstarter campaign, where you could also pre-order a copy of the book! Now that the campaign is over and has been successful, you can order the book here.
What inspired you to do this?I wanted to tell a few different stories — I wanted to modernize Beowulf, I wanted to tell a story about academia, and I wanted to tell a story about Sasquatch. So I kind of rolled those ideas around in my head for a while, and this just sort of came out. I also love watching stuff like Ghostbusters, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the X-Files, all of which influenced this book in some small way.
So... there's Sasquatch in here? You'll have to wait and see. Nah, I'm just kidding.
But seriously, yes, yes there is. How long does it take you to draw a page?If I'm really on a roll, I can bang out 2 or 3 pages in a day. But that doesn't include coloring, or the time it took to write a page of script. So, the short answer is, it depends.
